Match Me Twice for Science

Since the COVID-19 crisis began, the Fleet Science Center has been working with teachers, parents, schools, student groups and community leaders to create new solutions to meet growing needs. From teaching science classes to connecting students and adults to scientists online to distributing free science activity kits for kids with little internet access, the Fleet is working hard to keep our community connected to science and to each other.

Now, one San Diego family, recognizing that the Fleet’s museum, a major source of the Fleet’s annual revenue, is closed, has stepped forward with an extraordinary pledge. They will match every dollar donated to the Fleet Science Center with two additional dollars. A gift of $50, for example, will be matched with $100, tripling the impact of each donation.

We need your help to meet our $250,000 goal by December 15 and have our gifts matched by a $500,000 donation from this generous family.
